New Operating Model for Emerging Markets



Our client was experiencing a period of continued growth, and an existing hyperscale customer confirmed expansion plans into Asia. Whilst it’s existing team are experienced in all areas of development of wholesale Data Centre facilities, current workload, program pressure and demand for specific experience has motivated for additional support when it comes to operations and staffing, particularly in these new territories


VIPA Digital were invited to assist the team by contributing its operations skills and experience to propose a new operating model for the target locations in Asia.



VIPA Digital worked with the client team, to understand the end-user requirements, application of a 'blue-print' deign and current operating model providing recommendations with respect to the suitability of the European model fir application in new models. Investigations into the supplier and regulatory landscape in the new markets provided the input into a new Operating model that consisted of an OPEX/CAPEX budget and a revised staffing model suitable for the new regions.
